June 13, 2008

On June 13, 2008, 4th graders in Mrs. Eigo's class at South Salem Elementary School presented several Internet Smarts case studies to visiting officials from Cablevision, school officials including Principal Chris Shields, as well as NY Senator Craig Johnson. All 18 students performed skits, some in costume, to demonstrate Cyberbullying and Social Networking. After the performances, Senator Johnson presented the class with individual certificates of achievement for a job well done and also signed a large certificate for the whole class.
